Burns Fatal to Native of Hempstead
George W. Greenlee 53 of El Dorado died from severe burns suffered when gasoline fumes ignited as he lit a cigarette in a lawnmower repair shop near his home. An Monsanto employee, he was burned over about 90 percent of his body. He had lived in El Dorado 26 years and previously worked for J C Penney in Hope. Survivors include his wife two daughters three brothers and two sisters. Services were held Thursday in El Dorado with burial at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
