The National Weather Service reports a slow warming trend across Arkansas today and tonight. Morning readings ranged from the upper 50s in the north to the 60s elsewhere as showers drifted out of the state.
Hope Star reports scattered showers across the state with thundershowers forecast Thursday as a cold front moves south. Weather data include 24 hour rainfall reports from Pine Bluff El Dorado Texarkana and Little Rock with highs and lows listed for several cities and an experiment station reading.
Funeral services for Emma Elizabeth Parris 82 were held at Herndon Funeral Home chapel with two reverends officiating. Burial followed at Holly Grove Cemetery after she died Monday in a local hospital. Also, funeral services for Rusy Ross 8 were conducted at Latimer Funeral Chapel Nashville with two ministers officiating. He was buried at Ozan Cemetery Bingen after dying Monday in a Nashville nursing home. He was a native of Hempstead County and a retired farmer.
