James Thomas Methodist Leader Dies at 83

Dr. James Thomas a longtime Southern Methodist leader in Arkansas died at his Little Rock home after a long illness. Born in Alabama he moved to Arkansas in 1890 and spent his career in state clergy including 14 years as Little Rock district superintendent. He retired last fall.
