Booby trap backfires injures boy in Missouri
An eight year old Frankie Holt suffered severe burns over about a third of his body when a sparkler fired from a booby trapped screen door ignited his clothing as he refueled a tractor at his home in Harris Missouri. His sister Annie aided by smothering flames with pillows while he was taken to a hospital in Princeton.

NEW YORK AP A study prepared for the New York Chamber of Commerce concludes that drug abuse in the business world has increased to a startling extent within the past two years and has become an ominously growing problem. Executive vice president Thomas N. Stainback said the study suggests a problem once rare is now almost as serious as alcoholism in business. The chamber's report is contained in a 64 page booklet.
