Smallest Post Office in the United States in Ochopee Florida
Postmaster Sidney J. Brown runs the tiny Ochopee post office on the Tamiami Trail, a seven by eight foot structure opened in 1932. The current building, labeled temporary since 1957, continues to serve stamps and money orders with Brown’s quick wit for locals and tourists alike.
