Four Injured in Highway 355 Collision Near McNab
About midafternoon Sunday four persons were injured in a two vehicle accident on Highway 355 near McNab. Injured were Albert Golston Jr., John Henry Ogden and Willie Lee Ogden Jr., all of Washington and Herbert Williams of Saratoga. They were brought to Branch Hospital for treatment by a Hempstead Ambulance Service car and taken to Texarkana. Albert Golston Jr. was later taken to a veterans hospital in Little Rock. State Police Trooper Wallace Martin said the pickup driven by Golston, failed to negotiate a curve, hit some loose gravel on the road shoulder and veered into a car driven by Williams who was riding alone. The investigation continues but Trooper Martin indicated a charge will be filed.
