Sale on credit of three months with bond and 8 percent interest, lien retained to secure payment. Commissioner in Chancery Willie Harris signs the order.

The Chancery Court of Hempstead County will sell at public auction on January 26, 1933, at the courthouse in Washington Arkansas, the South Half of the SW Quarter and other described parcels totaling about 200 acres, with eight percent interest and security. A second sale in Lafayette County includes parts of Section 5 Township 15 South Range 24 West totaling about 41 acres, plus additional parcels, at the county line, under similar terms and conditions.

Under a court order dated December 1932 in No. 2575 the Federal Land Bank of St. Louis seeks public sale of Hempstead County parcels. On January 26, 1933 the East Half SW quarter, NE quarter NW, SE quarter NE and other described tracts totaling about 340 acres are offered to satisfy a lien in the case of Federal Land Bank of St. Louis vs W C Davis et al. The sale runs within legal hours until the debt is paid.
