Doyle Wayne Vickers 43 of Stamps Arkansas died at John Sealey Burn Center from injuries from a February explosion near Magnolia Arkansas. He was hurt when his tractor trailer touched off a natural gas pipeline rupture ignited by exhaust. Arkla president Nelson said engineers would help determine cause amid tremor speculation.
Kalmbach pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor stemming from offering a pledge of an ambassadorship to a political donor. Funeral services for Mrs Willie Hines 81 were held in Nashville with burial at St Paul Cemetery near Oran. Marion Boyd Havighurst, author and wife of Walter Havighurst, died Sunday in Oxford Ohio. She wrote four books including Murder in the Stacks and Strange Island and coauthored three with her husband. Her age was not released.
