Tanker hits drawbridge. four cars fall into James River

A tanker struck the Benjamin Harrison Bridge near Hopewell early today, ripping out a 19 foot section and sending four cars tumbling into the James River. Divers searched 25 feet deep as the Coast Guard pursued the erratic Marine Floridian, which may have lost power before impact. Police said two drivers escaped, others unaccounted. Plane crash near Harrisburg kills top Pennsylvan ia transportation official
