Amendment 25 certified Johnson officiates ceremony

Washington AP reports President Johnson formalizes the 25th Amendment easing presidential disability and filling a vice presidential vacancy. The measure became part of the Constitution February 10 after state ratification. It allows the vice president and cabinet to assume powers, with Congress deciding disputes and a presidential vacancy filled by replacement and Congressional confirmation. The text notes the country has faced 16 vice presidential vacancies over 37 years, with succession rules remaining for near-simultaneous deaths. It also references Frith Fromm's new book You Shall Be as Gods, arguing on God and human belief.
