Dwight Lamar scored 42 points for Southwestern Louisiana as they defeated McNeese State 95-83. Roy Ebron added 22 points and 24 rebounds, while Henry Ray kept McNeese within reach with 32 points. Coach Beryl Shipley noted Lamar had an off night despite the high output as the team tired from a five game road trip.
