Farm program sign-up begins in Hempstead County
Hempstead County ASCS announces six week sign-up for 1973 feed grain wheat and cotton programs starting Monday February 5 and running through March 16. About 200 farmers expected to enroll with roughly 25 percent of eligible farms signing up for one or more options. The ASCS office will offer cost based measurement services and will maintain normal hours 7 30 a m to 4 30 p m weekdays except February 19 for Washington's Birthday. The office is in the Federal Building.
