Ernest Ross 74 Dies in Local Hospital
Ernest Ross 74 a retired building contractor died Friday in a local hospital. He was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church. Survivors include a son Dennis Ross of Hope five daughters four brothers and five sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Church with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Two Injured in Accident Near DeAnn
autos driven by Mrs. Ronny Burke of DeAnn and David Nivens collided head on five miles east of DeAnn on a county road. State Policeman Leon Stokes said the crash occurred while descending a hill. Mrs. Burke suffered severe leg and knee injuries and was taken to a hospital by a Herndon-Cornelius ambulance. her younger daughter and Nivens sustained minor bruises.
