Rain Clouds Move Into Arkansas With Snow Possible
An upper level trough was forecast to move into Arkansas late today bringing rain and the possibility of snow to portions of the state. Rain was expected to turn to snow in the northern portions tonight, with precipitation exiting the state by late Tuesday. High clouds drifted in from the west Sunday night keeping minimum temperatures low.

Obituaries for Evelyn Walters and Frances Parker
Evelyn Walters 68 of Hope died Sunday in a local hospital. Survivors include her husband Frank two sons Jimmy and Billy two brothers two sisters and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at Herndon chapel with burial in Memory Gardens. Frances Jane Hays Parker 64 of Little Rock died Sunday at home. She was born in Okolona Clark County and survived by her husband Ray P Parker one daughter Jane Parker and one brother Dolph Hays. Funeral Tuesday at Ruebel Funeral Home with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Marine Private Larry D. Smith of Hope completed Infantry Training School at Camp Pendleton Calif after specialized instruction in infantry weapons and tactics.

Suit hearing slated today on school suspensions
