Earl May, 63, of Bodcaw died at 8 Prescot Hospital. He was a lifelong Bodcaw resident, Corinth Church member, former Arkansas State Health Department meat inspector, ex-teacher, and World War I veteran. Survived by wife Myra Waters May, a son Jacky May, daughters Mrs. Jacky Mp. Mahan and Mrs. Tee Ward, brother Ernest May, and six grandchildren. Funeral at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev Hollis Dillard, burial at Union Cemetery under Smith Funeral Home. Charles L. Garner, 70, of Bodcaw died Tuesday in a local hospital. Survived by wife Alta Mouser Garner. sons Charles L. Jr., James Robert, and Curtis Glendon. daughters Marie Townsend and Sylvia Fowler. brothers Alva, Ira, and Novel Garner. sisters Ruby Ross and Ruthie Dorman. 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral at Shover Springs Baptist Church with Rev V.V. Callender. burial at Shover Springs Cemetery under Stamps Funeral Home. Mechanical pollination devices developed by Roger Perkins and Galen Brown in Riverside. A machine to pollinate palm trees in Indio, California, addressing the distance between male and female trees and the risk to climbers.
