Arkansas to see warmup after bitter cold spell

The National Weather Service forecasts relief from the cold with dry conditions and a warmup across Arkansas. Friday highs are expected in the 50s to 60s, with weekend lows in the 30s to 40s. Temperatures should not rise above freezing today in parts of the state.

Prison Supt. fires Parchman women’s camp supervisor
