Calendar of Events Drenched in December Group Gatherings
December events fill Hope area life with clubs, church groups, and social details. The Hope B & PW Club holds a Christmas dinner at Diamond with a gift exchange and a $3 limit. Hope Country Club hosts a golf film and a dance weekend. Multiple church activities and a Roseland Garden Club luncheon thread through the week, featuring programs by Mrs. Roy Chatham and a piano recital at First Presbyterian. A Shrine Club party includes a 54-member dinner and installation of officers, while Cosmopolitan and Homemakers groups also meet with Christmas themes and exchanges. An array of visitors and hosted guests mark social notes amid seasonal merriment.
