J. M. Faulkner a 35 year old farmer is in Julia Chester hospital with a broken right leg and injuries after his belt laden truck was struck by a Ford sedan driven by C. F. Erwin of Ozan on the Hope Washington highway Monday night. Faulkner was repairing a flat tire when the Erwin car side swiped the truck and then hit Faulkner as it crashed into the vehicle. Faulkner was brought to the hospital by a neighbor. Erwin was unhurt but his car was badly damaged. The crash occurred about 7 oclock two miles northwest of Hope.
