Planes Missing In Central Vietnam With 123 People

U S planes and helicopters searched the central Vietnam mountains for wreckage of two C123 transports missing since the weekend carrying 38 Americans and 85 Vietnamese. One vanished Friday with six Americans and 73 Vietnamese aboard. a second disappeared Sunday with five American crew, 27 American passengers and 12 Vietnamese passengers. The search was hampered by heavy clouds and low ceilings. A spokesman declined to reveal takeoff or destination to avoid aiding potential attackers.

Malvern Woman Charged in Thanksgiving Cafe Death

Marijuana Seizure and Arrests in Jonesboro and Sylamore

Seven people were arrested after two narcotics raids in Jonesboro and Sylamore Izard County with thousands of dollars in marijuana seized. At the Jonesboro two story home five were taken into custody including Joe I. Pelrek 20 and Ernest W. Miller 23 on selling marijuana warrants. Seizures included 71 boxes of marijuana ready for sale 59 plastic bags of marijuana morning glory seeds and other drug paraphernalia. Two more suspects Richard L. Castleman 21 and Jimmy R.
