Obituaries for Virgil Norris and Carlene Moore
Funeral services for Virgil E. Norris 77 were set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Herndon Funeral Home chapel with Rev. D D. Fairchild officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery under Herndon Funeral Home direction. Norris died Thursday in a local hospital. he is survived by his widow Sue Watson Norris. Funeral services for Mrs. Carlene Moore who died August 14 in an auto accident were held at 10 a.m. Friday in Fort Worth Texas. Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband two sons of Fort Worth, a daughter Mrs. Mike Voss of Fulton and two grandchildren.

DeAnn United Methodist Church Reopens After Seven Years
The United Methodist Church in DeAnn resumes services after a seven year lapse on Sunday at 9 A.M. Rev. Ralph E. Burke of Rowlett Texas will deliver the sermon. A renovation committee including Michael Samuels and several Burke family members prepared the building. Sunday School will follow worship. Rev. Paul H. Lyons serves temporarily as pastor under Rev.
