Hope Plans Digging Two 1200-foot Water Wells

City manager John Swift announced plans to drill two 1200 foot wells in the proving ground area near Oakhaven. Each well costs 160000 to bring to production and is expected to yield at least 360 gallons per minute, about a million gallons daily, as an interim supply not replacing the Millwood project. Test holes will precede construction, with work starting mid May.
