The Associated Press reports showers and thunderstorms moved across Arkansas today. Rain should end tonight as Gulf moisture fuels unsettled conditions. The National Weather Service cites two factors for the current weather pattern and expects mostly fair skies to prevail statewide Tuesday.

LITTLE ROCK AP The Arkansas Supreme Court ordered the parties in the Public Building Authority dispute to file statements by May 5 on whether any questions are moot. The suit, brought by Rep. Thomas Sparks, challenges PBA bonding for a $75 million state government buildings project behind the Capitol. The General Assembly approved legislation to abolish the PBA next July and replace it with State Building Services.
Pam Trevillion and Annette Steward are announced as valedictorian and salutatorian of the 1975 Blevins Senior Class. Pam, active in Beta Club FTA FH A Who's Who and yearbook, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs R J Trevillion of McCaskill Arkansas. Annette, daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Steward, is active in FH A FTA Student Council and Beta Club and co editor of the yearbook. Commencement is May 18 at 4:00 p.m. in the high school gym with Rev Jerry Don Roberts delivering the address.
