Bombing of Hanoi Bridge Marks New Strike Target
U S Air Force pilots intensified raids on the Hanoi area with a major strike on the Red River bridge four miles from central Hanoi. The steel concrete structure carries the sole rail line to Red China and North Vietnam. Spokesmen could not yet assess damage. An electrical transformer site north of Hanoi was also hit. In the Haiphong-Hanoi region, antiaircraft fire and MIG opposition slowed raids. Losses cited include more American planes. Ground fighting in Quang Tri left Marines with 5 dead and 22 wounded. helicopters and relief forces moved in without further contact.

State College Plans Nurse Program
State College of Arkansas will start a nurse training program in partnership with Baptist Medical Center. President Dr. Silas D. Snow said Gov. Lula Allen Dies Tuesday in Prescott Hospital
Lula Allen widow of Jack Allen died in a Prescott hospital April 25 after long Prescott and Nevada County residence. Survived by son Roy Allen and four daughters, fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren, plus four sisters and a brother. Service will be Thursday at Nagrene Church in Prescott with Rev. E. E. tery officiating.
