Arkansas districts to get nearly 5 million windfall

Arkansas school districts are set to receive about 5 million in federal funds this year, boosting totals to 23.6 million in Title I and 321,876 in Title II programs under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Desegregation Goal Set By HEW Chief Finch

Hempstead County to Join RCD Expansion Plan

Congressman John Paul Ham. Merschmidt stated the Agriculture Department will soon announce expanding the Resource Conservation and Development program to Hempstead County and nine other Southwest Arkansas counties.
