The White House says economic aid to South Vietnam will probably exceed current levels after Nixon and President Thieu spent over eight hours together. They urged vigilance against infil trations of men and weapons violating the Paris accord while avoiding public discussion of possible military responses. Thieu then planned visits in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles before returning to San Diego.

Obituary of James T Waters in Nevada County
Jamies I. Waters, longtime resident of Nevada County and retired farmer, died Monday in a Texarkana hospital. He was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. Survived by son Halbert H. Waters of Texarkana and daughter Mrs Karl May of Kronstuns, two sisters Mrs Lola Jarvis and Mrs Beil Totulin. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Union Church in Bodcaw with Rev Louis Wesson officiating. Burial followed in Union Church under South Funeral Home of Stumps.

Gas shortage halts Shelby County patrol fuel supply
