Parents sue Ottawa County to undo mask mandate in schools

Marlena's Bistro and Pizzeria Reopens After Court Ruling

Marlena Pavlos-Hackney, owner of Marlena's in Holland, resumes operations 185 days after jail time for operating without a food license. Holland board allows teachers to keep tenure

Holland Public Schools will allow four teachers who recently left to retain tenure after a school board vote. Policy lets resignations before 30 days of the first day of school avoid automatic tenure loss, a more lenient rule than state law. Anne Wallace spoke for the teachers during the meeting.
