Ex-local faces murder trial in Bosnia
GRAND RAPIDS A former Holland resident, Alexander Kneginich, 58, is extradited to Bosnia-Herzegovina to face 1994 murder charges in the killings of Rejhan and Razija Sikiric. He previously lied about the charges on immigration papers, served in the U.S. and had citizenship revoked. Kneginich, linked to Bosnian Serb forces, was acquitted at first trial but the verdict was overturned. He claims innocence and says he was unarmed, with motive to steal a TV. He has lived in Holland, Las Vegas, Crown Point, and Nevada, with family there.
