Earl D. Schipper 98 longtime Holland resident dies
Earl D. Schipper age 98 of Holland died October 20 2018 at Appledorn Assisted Living Center North. He was born May 19 1920 in Zeeland Michigan and retired from Hexcel in 1985. He served on Van Raalte School Board and was a charter member and elder at Calvary Reformed Church. He served in the U S Army in World War II and led Boy Scout Troop 157 for 20 years. He is survived by his children eight grandchildren eleven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. A memorial service was held November 15 2018 at Calvary Reformed Church. Burial was at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may go to Calvary Reformed Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements by Dykstra Funeral Home Downtown Chapel.
