Attorney drops lawsuit against police over FOIA in racial bias probe

Jackson filed in Ottawa County's 20th Circuit in June alleging the Holland Police Department hid records of racial bias complaints. After a costly dispute over records, she obtained 10 unfounded complaints from 2015 to 2021 and then sued again over redactions and exemptions. City officials say no additional records exist and no evidence of bias was found.
