Tulip Time crowds exceed Holland business expectations
Holland businesses reported strong Tulip Time traffic despite COVID-19 restrictions. Hope grads honor fallen professor
Jennifer Hampton of Hope College was posthumously honored with the Hope Outstanding Professor Education award by the 2021 graduating class. The physics professor and department chair, who died in a March 14 car crash at age 48, was celebrated at commencement May 16 with colleague Paul DeYoung accepting the honor on her behalf. Hampton taught since 2007, led the Materials Characterization Lab, and researched electrochemistry nanoscience and materials engineering.
