Gas leak contained after Spring Lake line struck
Emergency officials say a six inch high pressure gas main hit on Exchange Street caused a leak but was contained Friday. Responders from Spring Lake Fire Department Ottawa County Sheriff's Office and Michigan Gas Utilities managed the scene with follow up information via Ottawa County Emergency Management and Michigan Gas Utilities. In Holland a separate crash at 5 20 p m near 16th Street and River Avenue left a 94 year old Park Township passenger transported to Holland Hospital. The 17 year old driver was uninjured. Police continue investigation and ask for tips at 616 355 1100.
