Holland OKs affordable housing investment
Holland City Council unanimously approved a tax increment financing plan for a development by SJR Land Development on Sherwood Ave and M-40. The project includes senior housing, mixed use office space, and a 216 unit apartment building with rents tied to 80 percent AMI. City funds near 2.7 million would back a nearly 57 million project, with construction likely this year and tax revenues projected to rise about 160 thousand annually.
