Easter charity drives raise funds for leprosy cure
In 1998 hundreds of area children collected 2400 to aid Africa leprosy treatment. A Holland Zeeland Hudsonville church coalition organized the effort with 100 plus kids at First Reformed Zeeland performing chores and hearing Pansy the Clown about the illness. The piece also includes a long devotional on living as Easter people in a Good Friday world and guidance to pray, keep eyes on Jesus, and embrace resurrection power.
