Arraignments in Holland District Court in two Ottawa County cases
A 46 year old Zeeland man Kelly Wayne Harrison was arraigned on charges including assault home invasion unlawful imprisonment and felony firearms in a Park Township home invasion. He was held on 750000 bond after discovery and capture at his Holland work site. Donald Jon Oosterbaan was arraigned on possession and distribution of child sexually abusive materials linked to a senior living facility in Holland Township. He faced a 5000 bond after investigation by ICAC Holland Police and the sheriff.

Teen hurt when car crashes into mobile home in Park Township
A 17-year-old West Olive male was in stable condition at Holland Hospital after a one car crash at Holiday West Mobile Park Friday. The vehicle left the road, struck a mobile home lifting it off its foundation and causing a gas leak. Semco Energy turned off the gas. The sheriff's office and EM responders investigated.

Betsy Boyette died after long illness leaving spouse Dianne Wendt, sister in law and chosen family. She served in the Korean War as a ground to air radio operator, was the first female graduate of DeVry, started an interior decorating business in 1985, and retired to Saugatuck Township. Margaret Merrill 86 of Holland died Friday March 16 2018 while under hospice care. Born in the Netherlands she came to the United States in 1950 moving to Holland in 1997. Survived by her son Clarence Merrill and wife Mary and two grandchildren Sarah and Katharine. Graveside services 10 am Wednesday March 21 at Zeeland Cemetery.
