City Talks Short-Term Rentals In Holland Council Study Session
Holland City Council explored changes to short-term rental policy after the planning commission proposed updates to owner and non owner rentals. Revisions would require a certificate of compliance, add two off street parking spaces, display addresses, and require a fire extinguisher and tri yearly inspections. A pilot program for non owner rentals in an overlay district was debated but voting ended in a 4 4 tie at the planning commission. The council plans a first reading on March 21.
