Local man pleads guilty after Holland sports store rampage
Heriberto Cruz, 30, pleaded guilty to third degree fleeing police, reckless driving, malicious destruction of property, two counts of disturbing the peace and failure to stop at the scene after a December 23 2018 rampage at Dunham's Sports on James Street Holland Township. A deputy was struck and a civilian injured. Sentencing set for April 1 with potential up to five years per charge.

Zeeland Christian announces three longtime staff retirements
Zeeland Christian School will see three veteran staffers retire at the end of the 2018 19 year. John Buteyn known as Mr B will retire after 40 years in Christian education 29 at Zeeland Christian.
