Holland and Zeeland to add 55 MW of solar capacity
The Board of Public Works joins the Michigan Public Power Agency to buy 50 MW of a 100 MW Hart County solar project and 25 MW of a 125 MW Calhoun County facility. When online, these projects will supply about 45 percent of Holland and Zeeland's power, with Hart project's Holland and Zeeland shares at 11.7 MW and 5.6 MW respectively, and slated to begin in 2023. By 2024 Holland will push total solar capacity to 30 MW, delivering roughly 5.5 percent of retail sales.
