Father dies week after Michigan crash that killed daughter
Authorities say a man died nearly a week after his teenage daughter Kaitlynn Scott was killed when a farm truck struck them while walking their dog on a western Michigan road. Kaitlynn, 14, died at the scene in Grant Township Oceana County. Eric Scott, 57, died early Monday at a Muskegon hospital. Police say the truck left the road shoulder and struck the pair. alcohol or drug impairment is not believed involved, investigation ongoing. Kaitlynn was a Montague Middle School student.

Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell announced 22 arrests in a Genesee County online sting targeting adults seeking sexual contact with children. Suspects from Genesee and neighboring counties were drawn by an online ad used by the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team, or GHOST, as part of the investigation.
