Saugatuck Township firefighters vote to unionize
Saugatuck Township Fire District firefighters voted to unionize last year and pursue a collective bargaining agreement with the fire district board and Fire Chief Greg Janik. Led by Capt. Mike Betts, they joined MPFFU and IAFF to access resources, advocacy, and future benefits, citing retention and service quality goals.
