Man Faces Arrg at Grand Haven on sexual conduct charge
A 35 year old man appeared in Grand Haven District Court for arraignment on a criminal sexual conduct first degree charge connected to an alleged assault and abduction of an 11 year old Holland girl early Saturday. He was held in Grand Haven jail pending arraignment after Holland police arrested him near Van Raalte Avenue and 32nd Street around 11 a.m. Saturday. Police say the girl was taken from downtown Holland around midnight and driven north to the area of the alleged assault before being returned to downtown where she ran home after a friend notified her mother at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
