Real estate market in Holland faces years of inventory crunch
Local realtor Briana Beyer of Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt says the national inventory shortage will take years to correct, despite early signs of easing. In Holland there are 12 listings between 150000 and 275000, most likely gone within a week as the extreme sellers market persists amid pandemic challenges.

Trial set for Bowman in 1989 slaying
Allegan County says Dennis Bowman, accused of killing his 14 year old adopted daughter Aundria in 1989, faces a two week trial beginning January 11. Bowman has been imprisoned since August 2020 on murder charges with delays due to COVID-19 and case complexity. Prosecutors sought 30 extra days to file pre trial motions as evidence gathering continues, including out of state details. Bowman recently confessed to another cold case murder in Norfolk Virginia while jailed pending extradition.
