Harvest From Page Al Berry Crop Prospects

A statewide crop of 100 million pounds of berries is forecast this year by the West Michigan Tourist Association. A heat wave may affect pickers more than the berries, possibly softening fruit. Wear light clothing, drink water and decaffeinated fluids, and take breaks in the heat.
