Lampens mark 60th anniversary with family gathering

Lampen of Hamilton celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. They wed July 10, 1958 at Park Christian Reformed Church in Holland by Rev. Vincent Licatesi. Mrs Lampen, former Donna Brunsell, has nine grandchildren among their children Roger Peel, David Lampen, Daniel Lampen, Douglas Lampen, and Dean Lampen with spouses.

Travel route and hike to Houtouwan on Shengsi Islands

From Shanghai reach Houtouwan by bus from Nanpu Bridge to Shenjiawan Dock then ferry to Shengshan. Fast ferry 90 minutes, slower boat four hours. Weather often grounds boats. Hotels at both ports offer rides to village entrance. A two hour rigorous hike leads through Houtouwan.
