MICRC to hold final public meeting in Grand Rapids

The Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission will host its last public input meeting in Grand Rapids at 5 p.m. at the De Vos Convention Center. The panel, created after a 2018 ballot initiative to redraw districts independently, has held 10 meetings statewide and accepts virtual comments. New maps must be finalized by November 1 and take effect by December 31 for the 2022 elections if deadlines aren’t extended.
