John DeWeert a Holland resident aged 85 died Sunday January 14 2018. He lived in Holland for much of his life after growing up on 17th Street and earning degrees from Holland High School Hope College and later the University of Michigan MBA. He served in the U S Army and worked in printing at Harris Corp and Clean Print Systems. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Jean and children Jan Dave Tom and Sue with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for January 20 at Hope Church in Holland with visitation at 10 am. Memorials may be given to The Warm Friend or Herrick Public Library. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Home Downtown Chapel.
