Spectrum Health launches vaccine clinics across West Michigan
Spectrum Health opened its first large vaccination clinic in Grand Rapids with 1,800 scheduled patients and aims for 2,400 to 2,500 daily. Clinics by appointment will spread to Zeeland Greenville and Hastings, starting mid January. Initial group includes adults 65 and older and Phase 1B frontline workers with thousands already scheduled.

Ottawa County health department offered 975 doses to a new eligibility group Monday and slots sold out within 20 minutes. Frontline workers teachers and adults 65 plus were approved for vaccination by Michigan. About 6,845 doses to Ottawa facilities and 10,400 doses shipped statewide were recorded. boosters are arriving for Phase 1A medical personnel.
