Goog’s housing mix plans spark tax incentive push in Holland
Holland City Council approved a Neighborhood Enterprise Zone around the project site enabling a tax incentive to freeze property value for eight years. The Googs project will shrink the restaurant from 115 to about 40 seats, add MGB Market for grab and go groceries and upscale wines, a 7,000 square foot second floor with eight apartments, and a ground level apartment. Midwest Construction expects 45 workers during build and the three commercial ground floor businesses could create up to 50 jobs.
