Holland man jailed for threatening witnesses in drug case

Mark Adrian Baker of Holland received over five years in federal prison for aiding and abetting obstruction of justice by posting witness names and police reports on Facebook tied to a Newaygo County meth ring. He will serve three years of supervised release post prison. Boeve pleaded guilty earlier and faces 10 years to life at sentencing.

Holland Christian students fill Supper Packs for Kids' Food Basket drive

On December 18 Holland Christian South Side Elementary students assembled Supper Packs to aid Kids' Food Basket. About 500 bags were expected, including fruit cups pudding meat sticks and raisins. Packs will aid area children in need during holiday break.
