Jonker Named to Michigan Sports Hall of Fame
Holland native Margo Jonker, retired after 40 years at Central Michigan University, is named to the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. She joins Calvin Johnson, Jordyn Wieber, Chauncey Billups, Shane Battier, and Mary Schroeder in the Class with posthumous honors for Ralph Wilson Jr., Pete Schmidt, and Tom Kowalski. Jonker led CMU to 13 NCAA tournaments, 10 MAC titles, and a record 1,268-808-7 in a long coaching career.
