Two-Vehicle Crash Damages Intersection In Holland Township
Two people were injured in a Wednesday evening crash at 104th Avenue and Business Loop I-196 in Holland Township. A 2015 Audi failed to stop for a red light and collided with a westbound 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 17-year-old Zeeland boy. The Audi driver, a 42-year-old Holland woman, and her 15-year-old passenger were hospitalized in stable condition with non life threatening injuries. The crash damaged electrical services and remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office. Fire Rescue and AMR assisted.

Man found fatally stabbed in Ottawa County park
Ottawa County investigators say 51 year old James Earl Robertson was found in Grand River Open Space park in Tallmadge Township around 10 a.m. Wednesday. An autopsy on Dec 6 found Robertson was stabbed. police believe he did not die there and his body was moved to the park. A suspect has been detained at Kent County Jail awaiting charges.

Keaton Kroll a Culver East High School sophomore, son of Kurt and Danielle Kroll, lived with siblings Emerson and Aidan. Active in Engedi Church youth group, he aspired to be a professional soccer player and joined Tulip City United in Holland after playing JV and club soccer.
